Snack Bags

We recently took a quick trip to NYC, for a wedding. Our trip was a whirlwind, trying to squeeze the city into one weekend. But we managed to drop by an indie craft fair.

We found these Snack Taxi's and Daniel bought one for each of us. I'm always whipping up a snack and throwing it into little plastic baggies on our way out the door and I feel bad going through so many! These are great 'cause you can wipe them clean or throw them in the washer.

Our two year old found the bags in my suit case when we were unpacking and she got so excited. She picked one out for herself with smiling veggies on it. Love her choice!

Here she is after a trip to the park, finishing off the snack we took.
Snack Taxi included a cute cut-out that had some interesting info on it:

* The US alone adds 20 million plastic baggies to landfills every single day
* Each reusable bag you use keeps as many as 1,000 plastic bags out of the waste stream

Pretty cool! Love doing our part to make a difference.
